You know the problem. You need a modest space to record a talking head or a news-style presentation, and you need it quickly. The choice is between a major studio (at major cost) and a noisy motel room or office. Now there's a sensible alternative: the Albion Productions studio. A no-frills, inexpensive location that is away from traffic and available at short notice. It includes a choice of three different colored backdrops, artificial plants, Japanese-style screen and simple furnishings. If you wish to bring your own equipment and crew, the studio is available for $20 an hour. With an ENG four-head lighting kit and LCD SD/HD monitor the rate is $35 an hour.
